So, this is me.

Demisexual. Red/Yellow energy. ENFJ. Aries Sun, Gemini Moon and an Aquarius Rising.

In 2024 I was released from a 22-year relationship with one man. Unattached and seeking a place in the world as a 40-year-old singleton with minimal-to-no dating experience. I was 19 when I found myself in a long-term relationship.

I have had a career in marketing that spans the same amount of time as being in this relationship. I have the mindset that is a fan of pigeonholes, but I like to think I am conscientious enough not to judge too harshly after all, different is good – right?

This blog has been set up as a diary of experiences, thoughts and debates of this very unique situation I find myself in, navigating a world I have been protected from.. My opinions and thoughts are from lived experiences and are designed to portray a specific look at one person’s journey. I am open to counter opinions and discussions around topics that are raised and appreciate we are all coming from different perspectives.

There are a lot of dating phycology books out there which have been an interesting read/guide for me, but, very few come at it from a queer objective, manly heteronormative with a bit of a same-sex tag on.

I also want to finish by saying that I do not mean to set out to hurt anyone with this blog, I have met some really nice people, as well as a back catalogue of frogs.
